“Hello Pretty Pretty,” was the opening line Anita Pallenberg’s character of the Great Tyrant gave to Barbarella when they first met in the Roger Vadim 1968 Sci Fi movie Barbarella. As the Black Queen, the Great Tyrant ruled her world with an iron grip but she becomes softer in time thanks to the gentle influence of Barbarella.
To complete the look of the Great Tyrant involved putting together the outfit you see here including the distinctive horn or tusk sprouting out of her head. The black outfit complete with body jewelery and feathers were put together from items already available.
The choice of outfit was inspired by a chance discovery of the base dress at SL18B Halloween shop and hop by Vulnus called the “Veni Witch Maitreya Gloomy Spider” which came with sleeves, and panties. Elaine added the body diamonds from a dress by Utopia, body feathers by Rocky and L’Emporio Elektra shoulder feathers, black gloves with white nails showing by Pure Poison, A choker by Sweet’s. Lastly Elaine added the distinctive MOR Yandere unicorn horn to brown black hair with bangs. It’s certainly an eye catching look which is what happened in the movie as the Tyrant came out from behind the curtains.
